Pairing #7: Classic 100% het Kastanie blood, Lavender, 50% het sunkissed. This pair never seems to surprise me. Last year I had to wait a shed or two to be able to recognized them.
The pairing……….

The outcome…..crummy shots as I was using another camera. I will take better pics. after they have shed. A few for now…
This is probably another world first from this pairing - Plasma Kastanie. Also what appears to be a Sunkissed Kastanie.

I am keeping my fingers crossed with this one in the hopes that he/she makes it. Sunkissed Kastanie - realllllllllly Tiny
Pairing #8 – Mahogany (Sire) x WC Green Swamp Region – Central Florida (Dam)
*** There are speculations that the Mahogany phenotype would definitely fit into the Kastanie variety since the Kastanie gene has lots of variability. Future work is needed to concur with such statement. Next year I hope to find out
****Purpose of the breeding was primarily for genetic diversity.
3. From Pairing #7: Classic 100% het Kastanie blood, Lavender, 50% het sunkissed.
Interesting outcome....
Here is the OUTLIER from the clutch...A couple of more sheds and hope to find out what he/she is. A few German Friends and USA corn snake gurus suspect Hypo Sunkissed Kastanie but since there is no HYPO in the equation....who knows.....only time will tell.
Some nice looking sunkissed 66% het kastanie, Lavender, Blood.....
Orchid Kastanie.....Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny. Still in blue but a nice pink background.
