2014 NRBE National Reptile Breeders Expo

Connie and I were only there on Sunday, and that was enough. We walked completely around the show one time, and didn't feel the need for a second pass.

Actually I was surprised at some of the bigger names that didn't vend there this year. Of course, LOTS of new faces and names, so I guess perhaps the new is just in the process of replacing the old.

Heck, the only thing I bought at the show was some soft pretzels and some drinks at hyper inflated prices.

Of course, the indigos brought back some fond memories. I can still vividly remember my very first clutch of babies hatching out on my birthday when we lived in Maryland. I held a double handful of them in my hands and it was an awesome day.

I saw the first het palmettos, males, on the table, too.

I hate to be nit picking but if you are referring to Don's table there were no male Palmettos of any kind available. I point this out so he doesn't get reamed out about breaking his promise not to sell any males until 2015.
Some folks get touchy about strict interpretation and I'd hate to see Don in hot water over this.

It was nice seeing you at the show Nanci. And very cute to see you blush over verbal slippage.:D

Really? I thought there were male and female hets. I'm sorry!

Edit: I blame the color-coding dots. For some reason the red dot means male in my addled brain. I even took a photo because I was so excited!

The really amusing thing is that I was at the table for 4 days handling those animals all the time and I still had to contact Don after I saw your post to question if he had Het males for sale. LOL Talk about confusing!
Let's blame it on the dots! I agree they need to make pink dots. I get that wrong all the time. Red just doesn't mean female in my mind the way pink does. I guess that makes me a color sexist.
