2016 Mystic Exotics planned pairings

MysticExotics

(formerly NWHeather)
Miami Tessera X Miami Tessera~ I am doiong a repeat pairing with these two. I plan on holding back the ones that I think might be Supers, and I will be selling the rest. There may be some Super Tessera's sold.
(We are working on pinning down some markers for Super Tessera. You can see what we have so far on THIS THREAD.)

Red Factor Tessera het Fire X Cayenne Fire~this is a joint breeding, with John (Pike's Peak Reptiles, formerly Colorado Corns). We should have some awesome babies from this one!

Sunglow Tessera (Red Factor Amel, het Anery) X Coral Snow~ This is another joint pairing, with Nova Reptiles. We're hoping for some pretty pink Tessera's!

Miami Tessera X RO~ This is a last minute, joint pairing, with Glacier Rodents. I am hoping to prove my Miami Tessera male het for Amel.

Can't wait to see the snow tesseras. I have a similar pairing next year, salmon snow x snow tessera, and am eager to see the outcome.

Sorry that I missed that there were new posts on here.

I have layboxes in with each girl, and am hoping to see eggs fairly soon!

It has begun!!

24 large eggs from Brokk (Miami Tessera poss het Amel) X RO- (owned by Glacier Rodents).

This pairing was done to see if Brokk is het for Amel.
They are a little dehydrated, but I am optimistic that they will bounce back.

fingers crossed for ya.

I know we'll still have a ways to go towards the super hypothesis, but it's at least a start.

Brokk (Miami Tessera) is het for Amel!!!

I paired him with an RO from Glacier Rodents, and the babies started pipping this morning (day 68).
No one has emerged yet, but I see a couple Amel babies, one is a Tessera!!

I am SO exited about this!!

I'm so excited about it!
So far, it is the only clutch for this year. Two females never laid eggs, and one laid eggs, but none were good.

Nine babies have emerged so far. One Amel Tessera, two normal Tessera's, an Amel, and the rest are normals. A couple have a bit of aberrant patterning on them.
One tiny normal baby was D.I.E. :(
I will post pics on a new thread in the next couple days.
About five more have pipped, there's 10 or 11 babies altogether that still haven't hatched.
