30 gallon OK?

Cornsnake124

Would a 30 gallon tank be OK for an adult instead of a 20? Its only about 6 inches longer than the 20 and i would be getting it at a cheaper price than the 20 because they really want to get rid of it, and it has a sliding lid. But I'm not quite sure that it would be the right size. So, I thought i would ask here. I would like as many answers before around 1 today (CT) because if we should get it we will go and pick it up today. Thanks everybody!

A 20 Long is the smallest size recommended for housing an adult corn in, you can go always go bigger. I personally prefer a larger tank for activity room.

I am going to go with the 30, but i didn't get it 2 days ago because the hawkeye game kinda messed up my schedule that day. I will probably pick it up when the blizzard going through stops..

We have steve in a 40 gal. All Glass Critter Keeper for that same reason. I paid $ 8.00 more for the 40 gal. than I would have for the 20 gal. because my local pet store wanted rid of it. He loves the extra space. I say go for it.

Definitely go for tje bigger. I plan on getting a 55 or 75 for my Okee when he out grows the 10 g.

Just picked it up today, am going to get some of it ready tomorrow but there is no rush the new snake ships next week. :)

Awesome...are you going to set it up all natural looking? Post a pic when you have a chance. I really like getting (ie. stealing) ideas from others on here.
