hi

6 weeks is enough time, and he gut is most likely totally clear. So you won't have to worry about anything on that end.

I would say turn off his heat sources and just leave him in the "room temp" in your house for a week or two. Or course no one can let them temp drop slowly and perfectly so this should be enough to safely move him to the lower temps in the "cool" room.

THANKS

BMM.

I've had him in my living room for just over a week and the room temp is abuot 80/85 not his actual viv, we have to have the heating at that temp as we (my wife and i) have twins (5 months old) and need warm rooms........

BIG THANKS.....................STEVE.

well

that's lucky from the reptile standpoint! A very cost effective way of keeping snakes! :)

I would just try and lower him for a coulpe days in the mid 70s somewhere, although i honestly cant say if just putting him in the room now would really hurt him. it probably wouldn't but i am no expert. maybe you'll get more replies from people with more brumation experience! :)

Giving your snake some time at a temp in the mid 70's would be ideal, but I doubt you'll do any harm by placing him directly into the cool room. Our temps here in Florida went from the 80's directly into the 40's and 50's and even frost. I'm sure the corns in the wild are used to sudden changes like that.
