Found a nice female garg. Acts more like a leo that likes to jump, but very very cool. I have NO idea what morph she is.

About to shed? Not sure. Found her looking like that earlier when I moved her so I could do some cleaning and make her a little mansion. Speaking of which...

I also ordered 1k mealworms, 1k micro superworms, and a cup of a little over 25 dubia roaches. The roaches are pretty cool, and eat just about anything. I've got them on a mix of dog food, cat food, cheerios, oatmeal, a dash of corn meal, and some sort of moisture (cricket cubes and carrots).

I love the hide.I also love your roaches they are so cute.

Don't even get me going on how beautiful your Gargoyles are they are sooooo cool.:D

What interesting looking Geckos (?). They look rather massively-built. I love the blue-grey eyes on them.

As for the cockroaches--ewwwww. You TOUCHED them! Sorry--I am not fond of roaches of any description :).

If I had to feed roaches and mealworms to my snakes, I wouldn't have snakes! LOL!

Great pics and LOVE your dubia's. I've got an awesome dubia colony going, been keeping them since last Sept.

They're such an awesome bug!!

This is why I can't ID the morph.

It's the same single gecko in all those pictures.

You know I actually got the roaches to feed to the ratties for the most part? XD The one who got to eat an extra male LOVED it.

Awesome looking group. xD

I figure you feed your beardie some now and then, eh?

Oh yes and my leo....it's all my leo will eat, I've tried her with worms, crickets and baby butters but she refused them all...she actually licked the mealie and looked at me like "WTF do you expect me to do with that?!?!"

I'm with ya on the roaches.......eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwww!

I was able to handle a little guy who looked a lot like yours. He was young but pretty heafty built. I know they get a lot bigger but he was a really sweet guy who was very content hanging out on my hand. I'm so suprised how soft the geckos are. They don't look like they would be, then again most non snake people have no idea how silky soft snakes are.

I think, but don't quote me, that she would just be called a red stripe. There are stripe and retic patterns and then whatever color they fire up to is their official morph color. There might be more refined morph terms that would be added when describing one like that that I don't know though. I know more about crested morphs than the Gargs.

There aren't really a whole lot of 'morphs' per se when it comes to gargoyles. I pretty much usually just see reticulated and striped, sometimes with color variations (like high red, high orange). Yours looks to be striped. They go through fired up and fired down phases making them look darker/vibrant vs lighter/dull. I love gargoyle geckos, better than crested's actually. Enjoy it.

The reason I went with a garg was the darker colors, and both patterns catch my eye. Only the harly pinestripe cresties, really, get my attention. I also like for my lizards to have tails, not look like frogs. XD

She does get red when fired up, so I do think she's a red stripe like I was originally thinking before I noticed the huge color changing.
