I just wanted to say thanks for being awesome people. Lately I've been on other sites, mostly for boas, to post things about my baby Gauge. So, I created a page about him as an update because many people on there have been helping me, as well as here, with his whole situation. Anyways, today I went to check my threads and they just randomly wiped out my threads. I was so irritated. So..

Thanks for being awesome and not just closing or deleting threads randomly :D You all do a great job around here. Makes me happy to know even touchy issues can still be talked about, with a little common sense, without worry of modular intervention. :p

Yes, they do a great job here! Of course, since they were voted in by US, I am not surprised! I have not heard of another site that the membership decides on the mods, although I am sure there must be one somewhere like that. Glad you like it here!
 
I agree with most of what everyone has ever stated about the Mods here. They are a great bunch! However I think some of the happiness and success of this site can/should go to it's members. We are a lot like a family here and we do tend to get a little out of hand from time to time, but we still come back! We as members and paid contributors make this a great place to hang out and learn from each other. I sure do love it here too thanks to all of the members, mods, and Rich Z for a awesome place!
 
I agree with the above: I'm also a member/lurker on a few other sites, and there is a huge difference with the quantity and quality of responses from the members and mods on this site. I always look here first for non-corn related answers too!

No Kathy, I don't want to shoot them. Lol. It's called 'my brain is fried from college finals this week, as well as working 20 hours, and I need some R&R. >.< (Or maybe I just need to become a darn contributor already. Lol.)

And yes, I think we all just seem to mesh together very well. We have our little ruffles, but things always seem to smooth out again. My main concern with other sites is mods seem to become dictators because they are a higher rank than the others. Like little Hitlers. It also seems like we trust our fellow members a lot more here. Which, of course, is always good to know. :)
 
I agree completely! The mods on this site are wonderful. They are also down to earth and assist in more ways than one. I will be sure to buy you guys a drink down in Daytona!
