Addictions

Wolves, writing, mountain air, the sound of rain/running water, acoustic guitar music, bardic circles, the smell of woodsmoke, campfires, reptilebreedergame.com, creating role-playing websites (and not always opening/running them....), photoshop, minecraft, pokemon games, SCA events, and, of course, the magical food called DARK CHOCOLATE. <3

Yup, I'm weird. XD

Kettle chips are the perfect road trip food. Nothing better than heading out off to some reptile show with a new bag of kettle chips and a sweet tea.

I do agree on potato chips being great road trip food. What is a sweet tea? Ice tea?
For a road trip I also like peanut M&M's a lot :)

From Wikipedia:

Sweet tea is a style of iced tea commonly consumed in the Southern United States. The drink is known for its exceptionally high sugar content, which is typically around 22 brix (percent weight sucrose in water) and noted to be twice that of Coca Cola. An important part of the tradition of the South, it is often consumed daily as a staple drink.

Sweet tea is made by adding large quantities of sugar to bags of black tea brewing in hot water while the mixture is still hot, which allows for supersaturation of the solution, enabling the tea to hold more dissolved sweetener than under colder temperatures, short of recrystallization. Sweet tea can also be made with a simple syrup and is sometimes tempered with baking soda to eliminate bitterness by reducing the taste of the tea's tannins. The tea is served ice-cold and plain but may also be flavoured traditionally with lemon or mint.

I learned to make it with simple syrup, which is when you dissolve equal parts of white surgar in water by boiling it. One cup sugar to one cup water.

It's such a staple that you see it on everyone's hospital tray with every meal, here at work.
