I am finally going to graduate college! Ok, so I am starting my year counting at preschool, so what!

Anyway, I just felt the need to share.

On May 14, 2005 I will walk and receive my BS in Biology Science Education and in August I will receive my BS in Zoology. I plan to go back for a PhD in Zoology but I need to take some time off first so I don't flip out one year into Grad school.

Anyone else have anything exciting happening this year?

Weddings?
Anniversaries?
Exciting Birthdays?
Child being born?
Grandchild?
Anything at all that is important to you.

Please share!

Erin

i got engadged to a wonderfull man.

after living commonlaw for a year and a half, it was so nice to make another step to making it offical

Congradulations! That is a huge accomplishment. I'm still three years away from that goal, oddly enough, for the same degree.

i just retired ( well this past year) but this year i have bought a few acers of land just 15 minutes from the atlantic ocean in lower Delaware ....nothin to do but fishing fishing fishing :dancer:

Hmm...my boyfriend is able to graduate early and is already working (while finishing degree)...I have to wait until May 2006 for graduation unfortunately...My grandparents 53rd wedding anniversary is this summer (I consider that a feat since most don't make it near there that I know of).

Congrats!!

And to every one else too!

Nothing exciting happening here. I just an old lady starting college again this year~ so I guess I'll be excited if I can just keep my GPA up through this stupid speach class I'm in right now!

Congrats! Biology? Funny~ I am considering a degree in that direction as well!

Congratulations!!! That is awesome that you are getting your degree!

Myself . . . in the last year I decided to go BACK to school, won't get my degree for 2 more years, however I am going for a bachelor's in education so I can be a teacher. Nothing like waiting til your mid 30s.

I'll be graduating with my bachelors in Software Engineering on may 18th. Its not so exciting though just cause i start working on my masters in the fall.

Well, June 22, I will be married for 3 years. My first son was born novermber 4, 2004. And, I have decided that I want to go back to school, not totally sure what I want to study, but I have been kicking around the idea of vetinarian school, specializing in Herpatology. There isn't a good herp vet in San Antonio, and the closest one is an hour and a half away in Austin. now I just need to get some money saved up and figure out where I am going to go to school.

I seem to be following in a lot of peoples footsteps, and finally going back to college. My daughter will celebrate her 5th birthday and start kindergarten.
And my wife will celebrate 1 year as a real live veterinarian after 8 very long years of school!

Congrats everyone... well, on June 7th i will be married 3 years, and on feb. 13th 2005 we has our second son Chandler Michael... thats about it, oh and we got our first cornsnake this year!!! lol

Congratulations everyone!

Nothing too terribly exciting happening with me this year, except I've got a sort of mini-internship-study thing at Mt. Wilson observatory this summer! Also, within the next week, I'll be buying my first "big" telescope ever. I'll be investing in an 8" Dobsonian, with all sorts of accessories to go with it. While not as life-changing as a marriage or graduation, this is a big deal for me and I'm soooo excited!

Sorry...have to post again...

Two exciting things in the past 24 hours. 1 - my corns finally hooked up and I passed the Praxis II (have to pass in order to be certified to teach). I was really worried about the second one before I got my scores - I passed for PA (where I'll graduate) and VA where I'm going to move (back home)...ok I'm done now...gonna go bounce off the walls... :crazy02:

P.S. - Congrats on everyone else as well to all the graduations, marriages, births, etc.
