Those are all of my baby girl Queen Anne. She is such a cutie...although a picky eater. I paid 800 for her from RoyalConstrictors.com. Here is a picture from the last show I attended in Manassas VA, you can see that the females here are marked 700 and the males 650. I have seen them as cheap as this, but they were rather plan looking. I like the extra white "eyes" and alien heads. I highly recommend where I got Anne...he also gave me free shipping at that price!

I have more photo's unable to find them at this time. :shrugs:

The price isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

:) Though, I have to say; i dont think i'll be acquiring one any time soon, but i'll definately ... eventually, add one to my collection. They are lovely!

I actually saw a baby that wasn't eating down at a local home run pet store that breeds all there snakes, they were charging exactly 550 for it. I should keep an eye on it and hope no one else decides to pick her up for that price.

If the one at the local store isn't eating, I'd recommend passing it up - even if it does seem like a 'deal'. These are fairly high dollar animals (yes there are some that are more expensive out there) and you wouldn't want to fork over a large chunk of money and end up regretting it because she doesn't thrive.

Save up and buy from a reputable breeder - you'll be happier in the long run and will most likely have fewer problems. JMHO

That is something that gets my husband riled up - especially when we are making plans to move up there in the future. He doesn't understand it, considering that some of the sellers are purchasing them extra cheep (importing/wholesaling) and still selling them off at the going rate.

I was actually discussing with a friend of mine maybe getting a breeding trio for albino hets in the coming year. I'm really looking forward to working with ball python morphs even if it isn't for profit. If we dont do albinos I'd assume that we'd go with pieds, also awesome animals.

By the time you save up for one of these snakes, they should come down to a cheap price. Prices are dropping every year on these high end morphs so eventually, you can get one fairly cheaply in the next few years. The more people have them and produce them, the lower prices go. Remember at one time Corn Amels commanded a high price.

Seriously you jumped the gun on your RTB, I would let this one go. Life is to short to deal with a Ball that doesn't want to eat. Don't waste your time on this animal.

I bought a gorgeous female albino ball from Tom Harbin this year, and she more than surpassed my expectations!

She's a strong rat feeder, already on small rats-only $800, and he paired her up with a het. male free of charge!

After buying her, I find myself more and more drawn into purchasing several of the higher end ball python morphs, and now fear for the safety of my wallet...

I'll post pictures of her as soon as I can locate my digital camera :)
