Amel Hypo Cinder Stripes Hatching! Targets Achieved!!

Nanci

Alien Lover
These are Heart Attack's grandchildren- from Squirrel x Chipmunk. I'm hoping for stripes in cinder, hypo cinder, peppermint, and lots and lots of amels and normals! Day 67. 82F. I will be using my old camera for the rest, once it's charges. New camera just can't focus on hatchlings.

Baby A, weighing in at 7.8 grams, is a normal stripe! A pretty little cube. The nice thing about normals is they keep their pattern for life! Or, I should say, the pattern stays visible.

Baby A is resting. Now there are five pink noses and two dark noses. A was slit last night, the others this morning. So I expect _maybe_ two or three before I go to bed, and then hopefully a bunch tomorrow morning.

Baby D, Amel. Much more color. Are they different? Is one hypo? Is C just less color-developed? I don't know! Baby D weighs in at 7.5 grams. Baby D has so many pictures because "he" would just sit there.

Wow, Baby D is very bright. I'll be interested to see him compared to the previous one once they both have their first shed.
