Anaheim Convention show!!!

I think Lefty is going too :)
I'm starting a new job next week though, so we'll see if I get the time off. I won't be the only one at my new job that wants to go to the show :grin01:

Again, if I go, just look for the punk rock hobbit :)

I am unsure. I don't have any $$ to spend at all and the temptation may not be a good idea.

You have a mohawk or what? I hear you shane! I'm not going to get to buy another snake =/. I may not even have money for more pinks =(.

Seeing is believing! lol

I'm trying to talk my little sister into coming with us that weekend. She loves looking at the snakes and hanging out with us crazy people.

Temptation is going to be hard to resist, the Anaheim show usually has a wide variety of venders and large selection of critters to choose from. I've been looking for ward to this show since going to last year's show. That and I made arrangements with a breeder to pick up a trio of Potosis (or is it Potosies?) from him around this time. I just hope they turn out as docile as the one my sister bought from him! lol

Jenn

they are going to have free beer and snacks too! =). thats a big plus. Do you only have Anery Motleys and Amel het Motleys?

Told ya :)

So Jenn, are you and Tim not going to buy anything like at the last Anaheim show? :grin01:

And don't worry, if the L. Mexicana Mexicana are anything like the rest of the Mountain King species (which I believe they are) then they will be docile. My Thayeri, Knoblochi, Greeri, and Ruthveni, were all sweethearts that didn't have an aggressive bone in their body. And that means a lot from a breeder of mean snakes like me. :grin01:

Yes, just like you said you were leaving each time we passed you browsing among the tables. lol. I seriously don't plan on adding aything other then the kings to the collection - something I've wanted to do ever since my sister bought hers. Though, there's really no telling with Tim. I don't recall if he mentioned that he was interested in another snake or not. Kind of hard to think about more after tripling our collection in about 6 months.

I hope you are right, five evil snakes is more then enough at the moment considering how many total snakes we have. At least only 2 of the 5 actually still bite - the other 3 just musk.

Glad to see you are admitting to training your snakes to have a taste for human blood. Though, I don't think the other 3 rootbeers had enough lessons. And the miami must have a soft spot for me, he hasn't bit me... yet... *snickers* :grin01:

So, are you planning to pick up anything while you are there?

Free beer and snacks? Where was I when they were handing those out? (The snacks, not the beer!)

Anyone here who's going planning on entering in the photo contest this year?

Jenn

I don't believe that I will be picking up anything. Money is tight with the job change. But I might have to if I find a mean enough snake (since I breed for the mean gene.)
I will be there on Sunday for sure.

is it the 22nd and 23rd right? I'm kinda low on cash too =/. I don't know if I will go on Sat or Sun. Depending on when everyone else goes I'll go I guess =p.

Since we're planning to attend the BBQ at Cheryls again, so we'll be going on Saturday only. Not sure what time yet though...

Jenn

i will be going with my friend and my little sister. my friend is getting a cornsnake, and i'm still pondering if i should get one, if i do, it will be my first snake
