For those who wanted to see, and for anyone else who may like to ;) , ....
Here are some updated photos of Milo (mee-low) and Dina (dee-na). Both are '06 Andean Milksnakes.
Milo, the male, currently weighs in at 167 grams and Dina, the female, currently weighs in at 369 grams.
They are great snakes.:)

First up is Dina:

Great looking snakes, love the black tipping on their scales

Thanks, Janine.:)

I love the black tipping too.:)

There's always room for milks in everyone's collection! Very beautiful animals!

Thanks.:)

They look great, Deb! It's good to see an update.

Thanks, Dean.:)

I can't wait to see them when they're 7 feet long and 2 kilos! ;)

Well ... My bets are on Dina! :grin01: ;)

Woowwwwieee.. That is indeed a nice pair of Andean's.. Not a very heavy melanine wash on them eithier..

Appreciate the updates!

Regards.. Tim of T and J

Very nice pair of milks.

I'll be making my first foray into the world of milks next spring, I think...

I'm betting Hondos, for Chris- 'cause I know who his friend is!! Maybe Pueblan...

But anyway- those guys are so pretty! Dina is huge! I have a really good friend named Deena- I sent her the link so she can see Dina.

I like Milo's cool aberrant saddle.

Yep, Dina is a pretty good size.
My husband's nickname, for her, is "fatty". Not because he thinks she is fat (she's a solid snake) but because of her girth/mass. Sometimes, when I refer to her by name (Dina), my husband looks a bit perplexed ... until I say "Fatty" (then he knows who I am referring to). Dina is his favorite, amongst all my snakes, but I guess her actual name just doesn't stick with him.

Cool.:)

I like Milo's cool aberrant saddle.

Dina has one too (different location). Just can't see it in these photos.

You'd lose money on that bet...

I'm looking at a pair of black milks. "My friend" has an awesome pair that he only breeds every other season, and this season coming is the one...so I'm getting a pair.

Of course...I am in love with his super hypo hondurans, though...:punch:

They are certainly looking great! Such a big difference in size compared to the older pics you had posted a while back. I can't wait until our Andrew is that big!

Jenn

Thanks, Elle & Jenn.:)

They deffinatley remind me of black milks.

They remind me of Black Milks (in the juvenile stage) as well.:)
Guess it is not surprising. They are neighbors (&/or "cousins").;)
The Black Milks come from Costa Rica & Western Panama while Andean Milksnakes come from Columbia (which abuts Panama) ... and both prefer (or are in) the higher altitudes (mountains, etc.).

Black Milks (Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae) are another great Milksnake.:)

Yep, a big difference since the time I first got them too. It is almost hard for me to imagine that they only weighed 14 & 16 grams "back when" (Dina being the heavier of the two). Am hoping that Milo will, eventually, start putting on even more size but, ... still, he's not a bad weight for a yearling and for all that he's been through.:)

Looking forward to progression photos, of Andrew, too.:)
