Anerythristic Type A vs. Type B

So let me see if I have this right. I have a Snow, which would be Amel/Anery A. If I bred this with a Charcoal (Wild/Anery B) all I'd wind up with is some Amel/Wilds and some Wild/Wilds, since Anery A x Anery B always produces Wild, with no way to get Amel/Anery B. If my eventual goal is Blizzards, I'd need to acquire an Amel/Wild to breed with the Wild/Anery B to produce some Amel/Anery B's. Bleah, what a mouthful. Why didn't anybody tell me that harnessing the power of the gods and dabbling in creature genetics would be so difficult.

Is any of this correct?

If you breed a snow to a charcoal, all offspring will be normals (wildtype) that are het for amelanism, anery a, and charcoal (unless your snow or charcoal are carrying unknown hets). Breeding an amelanistic with a charcoal will give you all normals that are het for amel and charcoal. Basically, with these combos, it will take you two generations to produce the blizzards you want. If you're wanting to produce blizzards in the F1, the cheapest way would be to acquire a charcoal het amel and an amel het charcoal. Otherwise, just get yourself a blizzard. Make sense?

Normally Amel + Charchoal = Blizzard

For this to be true, the amel would have to be het charcoal and the charcoal would have to be het amel. :)

Easiest way to get a blizzard would be to just buy one! lol

But you could breed your charcoal to an amel and get normals het amel and charcoal and then breed those together to get some blizzards. :)
