yo dudes today i tried to feed my cornsnake(7years old)with an ordinary mouse(i usually feed him with two small mices) when i approached him with the mice he totally freaked out started blind attacks at it and then against terrarium's glass

has anyone faced this ?
 
do u feed it in its viv?if so that might be the problem.if your snake has further problems go back to 2 small mice n see how that goes.BEST OF LUCK.my girls also had a feeding problem just try a variety of prey(live or dead).
 
Is he going into a shed? Sometimes the loss of eyesight makes them very nervous.

How are the temps in the viv? They can get bad-tempered if it gets too hot.

Did he eat OK afterwards? I'd advise against changing feeding location/food if he was eating OK before now.
 
cause of "his" x owner i dont know "his" sex the temp in viv is 29C-30C usually when i feed him with small mices his behavior is normal
 
The temp sounds fine - not too hot.

Could the snake be about to shed its skin?
 
Were you feeding live? He might of seen it as a threat since it was bigger, or didn't like smell, etc. It could have been many things, like if you had cologne/perfume on this could set one off. You really should feed in a "feeding bin" instead of in his cage. It is easy for them to ingest substrate accidently.
 
Today i tried to feed him with small mice(always frozen) and finally he ate them with great pleasure(i use papertowels to avoid accidents till i find a right feeding bin for his size) so i ll avoid feed him with bigger mice
 
Try a paper plate instead. They can actually accidently eat a papertowel (it sticks), and choke on it and such.
