They look like they have "Rosy" ancestry somewhere. This is kind of a bad pic, but this one really stands out among its clutchmates and looks similar to yours, IMO. He's from Charcoal Ghost X Bloodred, and I got about 3 or 4 "quasi-hypo-looking" hatchlings:

Well

I have two gueses and couldn't decide which one so I will put both.
Bloodred X Emory
Bloodred X Amber

hi,

looks like the bloodred moved into caramelgen.
i guess you first crossed amber or caramel with bloodred. and then crossed the nominat het. caramel & bloodred & (hypo) with themselve, resulting in caramelblood.

it´s something i also working on. `ll see first results from pairing

nominat het. caramel & bloodred & hypo & amel

this year, i hope.

Yup,
Clint and Don win! ;) I am not suprised at all the bloodred guesses even before the belly pic. Don, I am really glad you chimed in. I have been meaning to ask you... I have been eyeballing your Upper Keys Bloodreds for a long time. I know on your site you said it appears to be a cross. However, I wondering if you or anyone you know of has crossed a Keys Corn with a bloodred? I am really curious as to what F1 would look like. The Keys corns seem to have some of the bloodred traits, just without the extra color. Thanks to everyone for guessing, here is a pic of thier father. Credit goes to Travis Grasha for the pic and ownership of the animal in it. I hope that at least the female will end up looking like dad, I think the male is going to be more of the "golden" type.

Aww aww! I guessed Rosy heritage, don't I get half-credit for that? ;)

Same here. I really like the looks of Rosy rats too. Hurley and I have a pair of "rosy blood X snow" and I'm not sure what to expect (other than normal/amel/anery/snow) when they produce offspring. :shrugs:

Oops, Sorry! Honorable Mention to Serp for guessing Rosy heritage, even before the belly shot!
