Hey everyone I just received a Kenyan Sand Boa from Underground Reptiles yesterday morning! It's a female and suppose to be a normal but she is very light yellow... Almost a cream/beige color.

Great looking snakes!
The KSB colors are one of the variations of a norm. Nice contrast though !
12g is about average at birth. Fun fat little snakes. Have fun.

Thank you! I've really been getting into KSB's. I've never really considered breeding until I came along them. Is there anyway to tell if they're het for a trait without having babies or records? I'm guessing no but just thought I'd ask lol

Your guess is correct LOL.....

I always liked live bearers over egg layers myself BUT the same things that go wrong in the egg can go wrong in the womb.

I've seen some pics of stillborns. Is that usually due to improper heating or humidity levels? Do you know if you crossed two normals would it be 100% for all norms? It's been a couple years since I took a biology/reproduction class by I'm also guessing snake genetics works similar to dominant/recessive human genes

Yes, 2 norms make all norms.
If you play around with http://www.corncalc.com/ you'll get how recessive, dominant genes work and what you'll get. The basic Amel, Anery, etc will work the same with KSB's.

Stillborn babies can occur for many reasons including premature birth due to the mother feeling in danger.

Pretty little KSB. I'm really tempted to get one-I think they're adorable.

You should! They are pretty amazing. Their hunting techniques are really cool and from what I've experienced they're just as docile as corns and bp's.
