Ants

Hi All, I'm a new member though I've been reading and learning so much from these forums. Thank you!

I have a one year old cornsnake and have recently been having an issue with ants. They're everywhere but especially seem to want the water in the snakes home. (It's been hot outside).

We've sprayed outside, have ant repellant type stuff inside and are obviously cleaning them up constantly, but I worry about our corn snake.

Any suggestions?

Sevin dust.... I use this around they areas where ats come in. They do not like it at all. Ive even put it all around the outside edges of the cage. This has worked for me, What type of ants are they???

Any chance you could relocate the cage and really spray around the area it is in now (residual works great for me)? That's what I would do.

I'm very, VERY cautious about ants here. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna move things this morning and do a follow up treatment! Thanks for the reminder!!! LOL.
