Any New Year's Resolutions?

New Avatar!
I know I know, kind of corny, but I wondered if anyone had any interesting New Year's Resolutions (doesn't have to be snake-related, but can be if you would like!)

Mine Are:

1. Go to the gym instead of complaining that it is cold and icy outside so I can't hike/ride/jog

2. Buy a nice Pied male Ball Python

3. Either make or buy a rack and get rid of the tanks

4. convince my BF that having more snakes is a good idea :dgrin::dgrin:

5. Be more relaxed about classes next semester instead of getting worked up over bad professors/TA's

6. Spend more time getting back into my painting. I used to draw/paint all the time and just haven't had the urge to do so in a while. I need to stop viewing the world so realistically and start looking for inspiration for my art.

7. Take care of myself and not get injured or very sick(I have a tendency to get hospitalized at least once a year...ug)

Any of yours you'd like to add?

Oy, this is the first year where I didn't consciously make a list of resolutions...I guess some might be...

1) Feeling more comfortable in my own skin by taking better care of my body, inside & out...

2) Take more time for myself to breathe & relax...laugh more.

3) Be more conscientious about filling in my grade/lesson plans book. :p

4) Stop buying so many bloody books -- and actually *read* all of the ones that I do have!

5) Get back into belly dancing.

6) No more pets. :) Enjoy those which I do have!

7) Start & contribute as much as I can to my Roth IRA. :)

That's about it...:) Well, more than that -- that's about all I can handle. :p

For me its the same old stuff. Continue losing weight... I lost 20lbs last year, so maybe another 20 this year. And going along with that same theme. Try to actually get more active instead of just walking occasionally. Also to try to read more books. I have so many that I haven't read, and they are just laying around all over the place. I also need to get some financing type stuff in check. I need to open a savings and get a few more credit cards in order to rebuild my credit after filing Ch.7 last year. That's pretty much all I can think of right now.

Get more snakes... and some other personal stuff... as usual get better at wrestling, we have had it for 2 months now and a girl hasn't gotten a match yet! (There's 29-30 people and 5 girls, 4 girls if you don't count the one that got a ringworm from it)

Just to quite talking about getting a different job and getting a different job. Preferably with less than my current 1.5hr commute.

Christina - like #5!

Hmmm... let's see...

- Work as much as possible
- Pay off credit cards
- Travel!
- Get a rubber boa!!!

Oh, and...

- Take over the world!
