Any one use Mice Direct?

Did you ever order from them? Their prices right now are unbelievable! I can't seem to findout much info on them.

Thanks,
Jo

I Emailed them on shipping and it was going to be $50 to cali
they they are like RP and give really low prices on product and make the money on shipping
Tim

Thanks for the info. I am surprised at the shipping costs since I am in MA and according to their web site I think my order was in the low 40's. I can't decide if I will risk it!

Jo

Do they really make that much off shipping? an overnight shipment with all that weight of mice and dry ice would easily run to $50.

This is my problem as well. I found cheap mice on the internet but once they added shipping it came up to about $1.00 a mouse, hell I can buy mice for a dollar at the local feed store.

If anyone can point me in the right direction on who to buy from over the internet that makes it cost affective than buying from the local feed store.

Thanks

Shipping is always going to be a problem with buying frozen mice online. The only way to make it cost effective is to buy in large quantities. Get them vacuum sealed so they lasy a year or more in the freezer.

This is why I buy them frozen at the local reptile show. Per mouse cost is a little higher but with no shipping its a lot cheaper

In no particular order, so please don't read any endorsement into any of these, but ....

miceonice.com
cajunmice.com
rodentpro.com
bigcheeserodents.com
americanrodent.com
themousefactory.com

... all starting with the requisite "www." and all in the US (sorry, European/Asian owners :awcrap: )

they are running a sale on their mice right now............saw an ad banner on kingsnake.com. i went to their site to check out the shipping and placed a mock order for 100 pinkies (8.00), 100 peach fuzzies(9.00), 100 fuzzies (10.00) and 100 hoppers(17.00). with ice and boxed it weighed 35 lbs. and came out to $43 to Texas. What really got me is the prices right now, very cheap. i just don't know about the quality of there product. :shrugs:

We saw their advertisement and almost bit, but when we calculated our shipping....J E E B U S. They wanted over THREE times what we pay from TMF; completely negating any value whatsoever.

:punch:
