Anyone have pics of a Bloodred Het Pewter?

Little Miss

I just got a baby Bloodred Het Pewter and would love to know what she may look like as an adult. I hear their coloring really changes.

Thanks!!

A Bloodred het Pewter is just a Bloodred, (AKA Diffused), as a Het gene is recessive so you can't see it. Bloodreds are so varied, so you can get an idea of what she might look like, but you won't know for sure. Check out the pics here.

Hets don't show, except with the occasional markers for some traits. It's very true about Bloods showing a lot of variability. You can also do a search of the Photo section on this site and you should come up with quite a few pictures. You should post some pictures of you baby, too! :D

Thanks for all the help! I don't know anything about snake breeding, so this little bit of info is very helpful. She is pretty brownish right now, and I am hoping her color will brighten up to more of a red as she ages.

I will have to post some pics! Her name is Betty and she is my first snake! I fed her a very large Pinky for the first time Sunday, and I think it was too big for her. She was used to eating medium pinks. It took her a very long time to get it down (about 30 mins), and I found a regurge in the tank very early this morning. I'll follow the the proper protocol and wait a little longer on the large pinks :)

In 10 days just make sure you only offer a pinkie head, then wait 7 days and offer a half a pink, and keep on with the 1/2 pink for a few more feeding before trying a whole small pink:)
