Very cool! You gonna keep it?

I guess it all depends on how it turns out. I'm very curious to see what it looks like after it's first shed.

The odd thing is I've bred the parent pair together for about 4 years now and have never gotten anything like this.
I've always gotten what was expected, so I can't believe there are any other genes involved ?? :shrugs:

Best of luck, hope it (he?) stays patternless.

Thanks !!
Yes, it's a male and me too !!
I've got a vision on what a patternless Peppermint would look like and it defiantly has me excited.......wishful thinking ;)

I guess we will know more once it sheds. I'll defiantly update once that happens.

Is this little dude still patternless?

As much as I wish it was, no it's not. It has developed pattern after a couple sheds.
For those who guessed Motley, they were correct. Out of all the breedings of the parents I've done, I've never hatched one totally patternless then the pattern come in later, but like they say, there is a first time for everything. ;)

Anyway, here is a few quick shots of the BEST patterned Peppermint Motley I've hatched to date.
