Diffused Peppermint Motley?

Ok, I was hoping this critter would have fully emerged by now, but it still has not. The parents of this critter is something pretty simple:

Amel het Cinder Motley X Amel Motley het Cinder

Pretty straight forward right, but what's getting me is the absence of pattern (or is it just me ??).
Possibly fluids under the skin and giving the appearence of no pattern ???
I've hatched quite a few clutches from this pairing over the past few years and have never had one like this hatch ??? :shrugs:
I've ALWAYS been able to clearly see patterning on them.

I'll be sure to get a full body shot once it's fully out of it's mini pod.

I am sure I see Motley. I took your pic and pointed them out.

I've hatched Peppermint Motleys and they don't look like that. They have a motley pattern even at hatch. I think it's a stripe but you'll know better once it is totally out and then shed. I hope it's a stripe.

I agree with Terri here. I've hatched Motleys/Peppermint Motleys from this pair for a few years and they always have a visual pattern.

However, out of the 3 - 4 years in producing with them, I've NEVER produce one single stripe in either morph.

Puts on his Capt. Obvious hat.

Yup, that's a pink snake.

I get the hint, I'll stop lurking and get back to feeding my collection.

Seriously though, is there any pattern to it? I was right there with Gary on the motley thing, but nothing is obvious in the above photo. Any chance of a 3rd shot, but with the flash dialed down some to slightly underexpose the snake?

I can still see a reeaaallly faint motley patten in the photo above but obviously there is more to it, awesome! Don't forget to record the sex ratio of this clutch for me ;)
