Are feeders needed here?

I have seen quite a few posts asking for info on local feeder mouse breeders in this area or that. Since i breed my own I was wondering if there is anyone in the NW oregon area that needs local feeders? I dont have room to go all professional with a bunch of racks, but if I find the need I am willing to start a second colony and sell the babies for 50 cents to a dollar depending on size needed. I will even euthanize and freeze them for you.

So you know ahead of time my mice are fed on a home made mix of nuts, oats, barley, soy nuts, and a few other items, (if you really want to know I can pull out the paper with the recipe on it and list all of the ingredients, I am actually tailoring it in my next batch to remove a couple things the mice refused to eat). I obtained the recipe from a mouse forum. My mice seem to love it, and are thriving on it.

Bear in mind that if the need is shown, I will only be able to supply one or two people.

Oh yeah, if someone has the need price is negotiable to make it fair.

Secondly, I apologize to the forum staff and members if this constitutes a violation of the rules by advertising. I really am just trying to be helpful to anyone in my local area in need.

Before you give up I'd try asking around at local pet stores or herp clubs. I'm sure there must be more snake owners around you. I've met many herpers, customers, and friends that don't post here - Many of the 'herp connections' I have are not into the internet or just not into this particular site.

Not really giving up. I just wanted to be sure no one here was in the need. I am not in a position to raise them comercially, not enough room. However, i will keep an open mind and if someone in my area comes along in need we can talk mice :santa:

I wish I was near you, as my supplier is ok, but closed Sun. and Mon. I freeze larger quantities of various sizes as back up, but there is always the worry his will have died. I also like the idea of your homemade feed. I will keep you in mind as I go up north a few times a year, maybe we could work something out. susan

Sounds kewl Susan!

What times of year you come up this way? I usually euthanize everything feeder thats the size my snake eats, but if you needed something at a certain time period I could arrange it with enough advanced notice!

I dont have much in the way of Quantity tho, as I only have one breeder cage set up.. Well I will have two soon, collecting Females now LOL!
