Arizona, amel Tessera

Chromatic Corns

Just one more
Nanci, I'm mostly posting him for you since we had once compared the difference between our two amel tesseras and I saw those nice photos of Moose today :)
Here are some updated pics of Arizona.

I'd love to see some other amel tessera pics if anyone has some to share

He looks like a yummy tropical drink, like a tequila sunrise. Too bad that morph name is already taken! Wow- such a difference in the amount of yellow.

Is Arizona related to Moose? If so, I'm betting it's the RF influence.

Here's my two RF Amel Tessera's. They are out of a Coral Snow female and Cinaed, the RF het Cayenne Fire Tessera (sibling to Firefly).

Also is one of the non RF Amel Tessera's from the clutch.

I don't think he is related to Moose at all. How doe the red factor affect your tessera's belly? I can definitely see the color difference between the first two pics and your third

I'd have to double check. I hadn't paid much attention to their bellies. I was watching their red wash, to see which were RF and which weren't.

He's not Amel, but have you seen the progression of the sire to those babies? The Red Factor completely took over! He's stunning!

Moose's dad (Firefly) is Cinaed's clutch mate. I used to think Firefly was homo red factor- but after seeing Cinaed at maturity- I'm not so sure.

Moose's mom is Petunia, a very pale peppermint. All other amel tesseras from his clutch- 2.1- went to Carol. They were all "candy cane-ish" when they left. No yellow.

He's looking great Stacy!:cool: Here's an older pic of a sister. I'll snap a couple pics of some sibs.
