This is just getting stupid now.

All of Xmas and new year was totally wrecked because of that stupid bug that everyone seems to be getting.

Now i have it AGAIN. I only recovered like 5 days ago and now its come back with a vengence.

Worst part is that work wont pay me to be on sick now because in the summer i shattered my heal bone. Every day i have off is less money i will be getting when i get paid.

I am more annoyed with this because i was going to get a BCC next week and now it looks like that is not going to happen because i wont have any money.

Norovirus? Vomiting/diarrhoea? You poor thing. I don't see how your work can't pay you sick pay though if you're full time and have a dr's certificate?

I'd check your contract and terms of employment if I were you. The time you had off in summer is a separate illness, so if you've been back at work a few months it shouldn't affect your sick pay now.

I work for the local council and they have a very complex system for sickness. Basicly they pay like this over a year.

1 month full pay
1 month half pay
Then rest of time SSP.

This sytem does not reset until a long period of non stop work.

Nasty! For me it's 6 months full pay, 6 months half pay, then ssp, but I'm not sure when the clock 'restarts', that's pants. Hope you're better soon.
