1 of my balls eyes has been capped for some time now and I have tried everything to get it off and it just won't any suggestions? Or should I take him to the vet and let them deal?

It's not cloudy nor milky but looks like it's cracked? I was I could get a picture to show you want I mean but my camera doesn't focus enough

Cracked ? Not sure how to interpret "cracked" in relation to his eye. sorry..
If it's clear and wrinkly then it could be a humidity and/or hydration issue. If it isn't duller than the other eye then I don't think there is a pressing issue.
If you do snap a pic then get one of each eye to compare.

It could appear cracked because there are actually two sections to the spectacle, so if you see a crack going horizontally across the eye, dividing it into roughly 1/3, 2/3. you may be seeing that.
I would take the snake to the vet, since you've been trying. But you _could_ put a mild hand lotion like Vaseline Intensive Care on the eye several times a day, every day, until the next shed. You basically want to make sure the eye is covered at all times. Alternatively, and better, you could look for opthalmic ointment on line, and use that.

I've been waiting for his next shed for over 2 months. I've had him about 3 and he's shed once. But his skin looks good so I'm not too worried but it seems like an abnormal length of time between sheds should I be worried?

BPs don't shed as often as corns. And with stuck eye caps I tend to prefer to let them be. 9/10 times they will come off with next shed. Futzing with them can end up doing more harm than good. For his next shed I would just make sure he has plenty of humidity so you get a nice clean shed and the retained eye caps should come right off.
I've been keeping corns for over 20 years and can count the number of retained eye caps I've dealt with on one hand. For whatever reason the BPs have had more. Perfectly clean sheds but with stuck eye cap. No idea why that is but it's always come off with next shed. Good luck!
