Banded Motley update

Ok, I'm pretty sure we can officially call Ember at least a borderline sunglow now :)

I think that might be the handsomest amel I've ever seen. I really like the even coloration and the bandedness. I'm really into the banded pattern. I messed with your picture a bit to show her off. Didn't mess with her color at all, just the background. Let me know if you mind and I'll delete it. But she sure is pretty!

Thanks guys! The color change in her from hatchling to adult has been phenomenal! I would have never pegged her with that bright orange background as a baby. She was actually my 2nd choice female. Thank god for small favors! She's everything I could ask for in a banded mot. Her pattern is perfect to me.

I've been good! Busy as sin... but good! And I'll admit, I've missed y'all :)

Of course I don't mind. Lore just told me how to do it last night, and I've hardly stopped doing it since. If you have photoshop, you open a pic, go into Image, Mode, and choose Grayscale. Discard the color info., and then go back and choose RGB. Then you use the image history tool to paint back in the parts you want to have color info. You can zoom in and out to make it easier to be careful on the edges. It's pretty fun. :)

I've found that my "purple" snakes may be a lot peachier than I realized. I'm going to start photographing them on a white or black background to test it out.

That really is a fine-looking amel. I think I'd like to meet your snakes sometime! Oh, yeah, and you too, of course. ;)

We can personally vouch for Jynx' collection. She strives for perfection in the qualities that she holds dear (in both herself, and her animals).

Heck, we even picked up a few from her this week that will be breeding this season. :grin01:

Very Nice.

Is that the girl you got from us when you got the pair? Just curious because Ive never kept the hatchlings back from sunny and cane but was always curious to see one when older

Yep! That's her! :)

No, I haven't sold him! I just haven't gotten a chance to get any recent pics of him. His banding is great, but as far as the "sunglow" coloration goes, I think the females take after their mother the most. :)

PS... check your IM :)
