Been 6 weeks already! + egg denting question

bekers71

What addiction?!
Well here are the "Beast" eggs. They are looking pretty good so far and have gotten pretty big. They are in a 6qt container if they helps put their size in perspective. 12 all together but the one on the bottom of the big pile doesn't look so good.

Here's the question. Last night when I went to check on them one egg had a dent about 1/2 long on the side. After the lid was off for a minute, the dent was gone. What could cause this to happen? The tote humidity stays around 80%, give or take a little.

Just a reminder which parents the beast are. LOL

Usually, denting is caused by low, or lower than ideal, humidity.
However, eggs can have some denting just prior to hatching (which is something normal).
