She just ate again tonight and now weighs in at 127g, she's a pig and would eat every other day if I let her but she's eating small adult mice now once a week!! She starts to try and persuade me to feed her early every Wednesday afternoon!! Now I have a spot where I can post my favorite pictures and keep everything together. When Otis gets a little more settled and such I'll start one for him!!

Someone isn't very happy with me!! She keeps looking at me like "aren't you going to let me out tonight"

She's is a 40 gallon tank and I thought that would be big enough no matter how big she got but I'm not so sure now!!

Can someone hopefully put my mind at ease......I know I worry all the time but is it possible that Bella could have a cold? She was supposed to eat Friday and wanted absolutely nothing to do with it at all which is unusual for her but I figured I'd just try again in a few days no big deal!! But I figured I'd try to see if she wanted a small mouse today (15g) because I had to thaw some out for Otis anyway! She again wanted nothing to do with it and she was making this noise every once in a while that sounds like a hiss or a sneeze!! So the reason for my rant is can a snake have a cold?

So Don Soderberg helped me out on the whole cold thing and informed me that is was simply loose skin in her nasal passages because she was getting ready to shed!! Now I know you can't get a real length by the shed skin because it stretches but Bella is getting to be a big girl!! This picture is with a yard stick!!

So I need some thoughts on how Bella is acting right now.....I just tried feeding her and I noticed that after I gave her the mouse she grabbed on and started swallowing but after one swallow I noticed that she was just holding the mouse in her mouth and not doing anything....I watched her doing this for a good couple mins then noticed she started to kind of thrash around like she was trying to get it out of her mouth!! She finally managed to get the mouse out and now she wants nothing to do with it and seems super lethargic! I still have her out of her enclosure and she is just laying in my lap and won't move unless I touch her! Should I consider this a regurgitation even though she only got the head in her mouth and could that be why she is acting this way?
