Beware of Sleestak

Hehe, I had a great night watching "Land of the Lost" with my 4 year old boy. He loves the show, and sings along. I used to love that show when I was a kid!

I loved that show, too...and my 6th grade teacher looked exactly like a sleestack!! Once you've seen one in person, you never forget.

If I wasn't so strapped for cash I'd by the box sets! I think you can at least watch some episodes on Hula. I remember I had the flu last May and Sci Fi was playing a Land of the Lost marathon. I was in heaven.

I loved the movie as well. :)

I really enjoyed the movie. I grew up on the original show. I liked the nods they gave the original, like when he was playing the theme on the banjo or whatever it was.

There was a girl in my 7th grade class...who one of my best friends (class comic) named "the Sleestak". She very much looked like a Sleestak.
Pretty much no one was immune to a nickname. Some stuck for the year and some changed every couple of weeks. Some made sense, others did not.
