Big Step for Nonfeeder

So I've had this nonfeeder which has refused to eat from day one. I tried every trick that I could find and nothing worked. Even when I tried force feeding a piece of a mouse and she would just regurgitate it. I've been force feeding egg yolk for months. Today I tried feeding a mouse tail, and she ate it!!!!:D:D:D I'm hoping to slowly ween her up to a normal sized pinky.
 
Have you tried "normal" methods periodically as well? Maybe she's ready to just start eating on her own. Sometimes you just have to keep them alive long enough for them to figure it out.
 
Yeah I try feeding her a pinky every few days and she never ate. I'll try it again a couple days from now.
 
Is there Bloodred gene/s involved? (Diffused) either parent? I have heard that even with all the outcrossing, that bloddred genetics make fussy eaters (if they will eat at all)
