Cool! I got to meet Bill and Kathy at one of the expos here. They were both super nice and easy to talk to! I got to watch Bill's presentation on photographing reptiles and it was very informative and entertaining.

Thanks for the posting!

Right after Houston, he is going to Austin to give a presentation to that group, too. Then he is going to Snake Days in west Tx and will give a talk there, too. So lots of Texans should get a chance to see one of his talks if they are interested this year!

Herping the Arid Zone --- Arizona

Bill Love has put together a photo-intensive presentation highlighting the best of his herp experiences in Arizona so far. Having a second home in Apache Junction (for nearly two years now) has allowed easy access to exploring many of the state's great herp habitats, exhibits / institutions. Visits to captive collections, public and private have provided some incredible photo ops, and his even more numerous fieldherping trips have fueled his roving lens with even more subject matter. All have been collected into one colorful PowerPoint slideshow to show off the herp-oriented things that most impressed this relatively recent immigrant from Florida. C'mon out Friday evening (May 31, 2013, 8:00pm) to enjoy Bill's "Best of AZ" photos and herping adventures!

Bill Love has been fascinated by herps since his childhood in New Jersey, and then for 40 years living in Florida. His special passion continues to be seeking and photographing herps in the wild. He also frequently gives live educational presentations, leads eco-tours to Madagascar via Blue Chameleon Ventures, writes freelance articles on various herp subjects, and authors the monthly Herpetological Queries column in REPTILES Magazine since it started 20 years ago. In the past, Bill has lectured at schools and in public, displayed live herps at several exhibits across the USA, with his wife Kathy selectively bred numerous species in captivity (creating many prominent morphs still popular today), propagated snakes on a commercial scale, imported / exported them worldwide as co-owner of Glades Herp, Inc. (from formation in 1989 - 1996), and traveled globally observing and recording their natural histories on film and pixels in nature. His imagery has graced books, magazines, calendars, business promotions, TV, and websites for four decades. For nearly two years, Bill has called the Phoenix, Arizona region home.
