BLizzard Corn hasn't eaten for 6 weeks

My 4 year old blizzard hasn't eaten for 6 weeks. Cage temperature is at 84 degrees and she seems healthy, lots of tongue movement and very active, recently shed.
What could be the problem?

Is your snake a boy?
It's that time of the year when male snakes tend to go on a hunger strike to look for loooove.

My big 4 year old male ate last on March 26th (5 weeks ago). He did this last year too during breeding season and didn't seem any worse for his lack of appetite. I think he finally started eating again after about 8 weeks.

I just keep offering him something every week and if he doesn't eat it, usually one of the other snakes will.

Thanks to all of you for the responses......

As far as I know it's a female and this is the first time it's gone this long without eating.

It's the only snake in the encloser.

Tula Montage - Excuse my ignorance but what is gravid?

Even without a mate it is still possible that your snake could be carrying interfertilized eggs and has there for gone on a hunger strike.

I took her to the vet last week and she ran her hand up and down the length of the snakes body so if she had eggs wouldn't the vet have felt them?

And if she does have eggs will she lay them even if their infertile.

Thanks,
Rick
