Bloodred and Fire hatchlings...for snakenewbies :)

Cohabbing is cruelty...
These guys were hard to take pics of! The little bloodred male decided he was Columbus and couldn't stop exploring...couldn't keep him still.
The little fire female is a total HATELING!! She repeatedly struck at the camera, or even if I moved. She is blue so her colors are not the best, but she is one mean little kid!!

I love how she's hanging on to the bowl so she can strike harder and not lose her balance!! I want to go home and play with babies instead of being at work...

Put the little guys in a plastic tote and bring them to work with you! Think of it as bring your kids to work day. All of my Fires have attitude. It's hard to stop giggling long enough to feed and clean them. They seem so determined to drive the invading hand away. I now know what the Mongols hordes must have felt like.
Very cute Beth, nice blue bowl too.
Terri

Very nice, Beth! Seems like you named the BR Columbus - quite appropriately too. What's the little fire's name?

They're gorgeous!!! That little fire looks so very awesome.

Well Fred, if I were keeping them, Columbus would be a great name for the BR, but alas, I have chosen my keeper from this clutch and these two are probably spoken for :)

I just need to get the fire feeding (and with her attitude, I don't think that will be a problem..unless she is so busy trying to attack me she forgets to eat!) and confirm with their probable new owners. :)
(They are newbies and the hateling attitude of the fire might scare them off!)

Terri,
The wierd thing is that her mother, also a fire, was the calmest sweetest little baby...I named her Sangria because she was very sweet, and very red.....but this one....is downright scary!! I even donned the wussy gloves to put her back!!

Awesome! Big Congrats Beth! Looks like you're getting a lot of bloods this year!

P.S. All the granites are really chowing down! They've all turned into little piglets.

Thank you Jen and Matthew..:)

Jen...there is another one pipping right now...this has definately been the "striptease" clutch...bloodred hatched July 28, avalanche July 31...fire hatched August 9, and another fire pippy this morning...and this is one clutch..all the same clutch!!!

And Matthew, if you can only hatch a few snakes, all blood morphs makes me happy! :)
I'm leaning towards Sundance and Sonya as names for the 2 I'm keeping...
In a little less than 2 weeks...yay.....:)

BETH!!! i have been without a computer at home so missed this completely. I am at my brothers in Florida right now using his computer.
Please PM me & tell me all about the clutch & whats left?? And how you are doing too of course.
I finally saw Brenda for the first time yesterday at Robbies. She was in deep Blue but beautiful just the same. Hoping she sheds before I leave for home.
