UGH. I orignally wanted a milk snake for my first snake, but ended up getting a corn (with the thinking that she'd be more friendly). Seeing pretty snakes like this make me want another one!
yeah I have ready that a few of the milk subspecies tend to fade out as they mature, I went with the Mexican subspecies because their known to keep their bright clean banding all their lives. and they stay small for a milk.
and they keep their jet black heads, unlike the Nelson's and sinaloan, which end up with a white tipped face that I'm not fond of.. I love my boys CLEAN black face. Makes him look like a little banddit!
Thanks guys and gals. This guy came from Sean @ VMS. He is only about a month old, his pattern and colors should stay close to the same, sometimes the tips of the scales turn black, but he should stay relatively close to the same.
