My friend and I breeded our corns...My friends is the female and it is a snow corn. My snake(male) im pretty sure is a bubblegum snow...i was wondering is it possible for one of hte eggs to be a different breed?....i dont know very much about genetics and stuff.

Only if both corns were carring the same gene. these are some mutations that can show up if both are het for the same thing
MOTLEY, BLOODRED, STRIPED,

Now if you have to diffrent snows one from anery A and one from anery B you will get amels. and if I'm not mistaken A & B are codomant so you might get some snows. :shrugs:

If you breed a snow to a snow you will get snows. If they are both het for something i.e. Hypo you would then get an average of 75% snows and 25% would be Hypo Snows (Coral Snows). Being both snows even het for something you would not get say a Bloodred morph alone out of the clutch.

Amel and Anery A = Snow
Amel and Anery B = Blizzard

dead potic 300 when the first anery B ( charcoal ) was found they bred it to a snow and got some anery A babies . The wild anery B was eirther het for anery A or codomint with anery A good luck there are 3 snow like animals They are similar to some degree.If you didn't know you would think that they are all snows;

Anery A = Snow
Anery B = Blizzard
lavender = opal

you can get snow bloods, snow motley or snow stripe or corals if both animals are carry the same gene. check with the breeder that you and your friend got your snakes from and see if they are het for other mutations. let me know what happens

Just to be picky - it is not possible for any of the eggs to be of a different breed, since you are breeding a corn to a corn, and so you will get corns

however, as others have discussed, you could get different morphs depending on the genes carried by the two snakes :rolleyes:

Skye I was gona say the same thing but if you think about it how many breeds of dog ,cats, horses, ect. When you think of the word breed it could mean pedigree .As what has been talked about on this forum . when you tell me that you have a pure data local animal that is a pedigree, Exp.true okeetee ,true miami, mobile Al. I have to agree with skye is that most of us call them mutations but there are some breeds that come in mutation form that are recognize. exp. reverase okeetee or amel okeetee phase,bubble gum snow, green blotched snow,crimson, pastel ghost, sunglow ,dayglow, candycane, milk snake phase, zigzag, ect. These are all diffrent breeds of corn. Ihope that this cleared things up . LOL, Vinny
