Yea mine doesn't look that big lol but she has gotten larger. Ithink she is either going to fatten up some more or she is having a small litter which is ok cause I have another rat that I just got who I think is expecting too.
 
She's gotten even bigger in the apst day too, first you could tell that she was getting bigger, apple sized and now she's huge! and MEAN lol, and she normally the sweetest baby. She bit the crap out of my finger when i was feeding her earlier. '

My babies are spoiled, they are pets first lol.
 
I hate how one of my girly's personality changed from sweet and loving to "I'm going to kill everything and chew everything" for a about a week when she had her first litter. Oh well, 12 pups made up for it. :D

I think I' more restless then her lol. She's pretty relaxed everytime I go in she is either at the cage door wanting out or asleep. I caught her asleep on her back with one leg kicking lol.

Thankfully my girl didn't have a temperment change, hopefully it stays that way after she has her babies.

I am amazed at how fast she is putting on weight, the last weight was 364g now she is 370g.

Back sleeping is a good sign pups are coming soon as well if the mother never usually sleeps on her back. I had a berkshire who slept on her back, but she looked kinda like that when she was prego and did it.

I've also noticed that females who are pregnant enough to have a big belly but aren't back sleeping yet tend to make nests to sleep in and don't curl up too much, like this (if it makes sense, if not, then meh, cute picture :p ).

Yea she isn't too much of a back sleeper, she normally curls up in a ball. I haven't seen her curl up like normal, she is either on her side or back.

That picture is too cute/funny. They are very cute when they sleep on their backs especially when they are pregnant lol.
 
Well she had 9 fat little babies this morning a little after 9am. I was so excited, now I can't wait to see what color they are going to be. I think they all should be dumbos, mom and dad are both dumbos.

Well jazzy ended up with 13 babies. We froze two so she got 11 now. They are so loud lol. They'll all be wild color I think since the mon is but we may get a surprise lol. Dad is a black hooded dumbo so maybe a couple of black solids. Since mom is so sweet I want to keep a girl for later.
I'll post pics later. Netflix through the ps3 taking up the computer internet lol

Well I ended up with 5 Black and white and 4 Blue and white dumbo babies. There eyes aren't open yet but they should be opening soon, I can't wait. Their poor momma is really getting tired of them every time I open the cage she runs out to explore lol.

My bf wants 2 because his ratties are old men now and I definitely am keeping the 4 blues and that leaves 3 black and whites. If I happen to find someone who will give them a good home then I'll rehome them they can stay too, I have a few large ferret cages so theres plenty of room. This will be Flour's first and last litter also, I just really love blue ratties and no one around here sells them.
