BRRRRRRRR !!!

The one time of year I'm glad to live in California! Yikes. Pretty, yes, but I so don't miss waking up to THAT!

Ah, it's not so bad. Here is how a few hours of sunshine can make the difference. A couple shots I just took compared to the ones i took this morning.

Now that's snow I can agree with. I just hate having to shovel the stuff! Lived in northern Utah for a year and a half (long enough to have to go through a couple winters). That was enough to have me very much OVER IT. And temps below 25... Nope. Can't do it.

Our side of the water over here has been quite warm (above average for Washington).
So not used to it.

How funny! I grew up on the mid/southern coast of WA (Willapa Bay), and remember snow being unusual... Well, up until 2009, when the world turned on its head and we got 5-6" of it. ;) Life in Pacific County came to a screeching halt for a couple days! I've heard they've been getting snow every year since then. I wonder if any of the cities down there have invested in snow plows yet?

Now, here in SoCal... We've had all of... Oooh, a week of 60F weather (and maybe 2 days with light rain) so far this year. It was 84 yesterday afternoon. It's making me actually miss getting rained on for 8 or 9 months out of the year!
