Caramel

hehehe
Okay, finally a photo of my caramel boy Orion. He is het amel and hypo - fun, fun! I usually don't mess with the colors on my snake photos, but confess that I was PO'd when I saw that the original didn't show his yellow AT ALL (he looked different shades of brown!), so I messed with it some. This is now pretty true to his color, tho I think his yellow is brighter. He is beautiful, and a total spaz . . . so I wasn't about to try again.

I sometimes have to "tweek" the color in some pics too. In some lighting, certain colors just aren't picked up by the camera well. But he's a gorgeous caramel! And I know what you mean about being a total spaz...my caramel motley male is the same way...I have yet to get a decent pic of him!

Suh-weet caramel. Pics of my caramel motley never present the yellow properly either. Your adjustments come close to it though. I'm too lazy to mess with the color.

Susan - thanks! Now I don't feel as bad about tweaking the yellow up a bit. It's still not as bright as he is, but if I went any further it started turning green and I knew that wasn't right. But I was happy with how much closer it was - he is really nice looking, rich brown and bright yellow! I have been trying to handle him every day to settle him down, but it's not working. He's not really scared, just VERY active. BTW this is the boy that I was looking for a GF for - I really wish I had more $$!!!

Roy/Dean - I didn't really mess with it too much, I just bumped the "hue" up a few notches, and the yellow came right out. I guess it was there all along, but hiding. Thanks for the nice comment too - I think he is a good example of caramel - but then I got him from Kathy Love so what would I expect? :shrugs: LOL
