Hi! I am new in the forum. I got my baby cornsnake 2 months ago. She was very active and was eating very well from the beggining. I am feeding her 1 pinkie every 6 days. After her last meal, she hided as usual but she didn't got out after 24-48 hours. I thought it was time for her to shed since I know that normally they should shed every 4-6 weeks (and she has gone for 8 weeks without shed!) but the truth is that she hasn't shed yet. I haven't handled her in 10 days. She has darker colours and I thought I saw that the eyes were a little bit milky but not too much. Today the eyes were ok but still not very active. I offered her one pinkie and she ate it without problems. She doesn't seem to have any respiratory problems....
So to summarize:
-She has been hided for the last 10 days (ususally she is very active)
-Not sure if she is going to shed or not!
-I fed her today and she took the pinkie.
Could she be too weak because I am not feeding her enough? Should I feed her with at least 2 pinkies at this point? I don't know the age but she has been with me for 2 months and she was small when I bought her.
She lives in a 30 gallon tank with heat mat (temp 82 max in warm side and 70 in cold side).
Can anyone give me some advice? I hope she is just shedding...but it is taking a long time and she never hides for so long. I don't know what to think anymore! Thanks in advance for your help!
