So... I was out with ceduke, and we happened to stop by a petsmart and I always look at the snakes because, hey, snakes. And there was a housing unit labelled 'albino checkered garter snake' but the actual set up wasn't like anything I'd seen for a garter snake and the petsmarts in my area take really really good care of their reptiles, including housing all the snakes separately. So I look under the hide, and I see something that looks suspiciously like a motley corn snake.

I asked to see the critter, and the reptile manager came over and hemmed and hawed a moment before explaining that he hadn't gotten the snake he'd ordered, so he was selling this little corn that arrived instead for the same price as the garter snake... which is about half what they sell the corns for.

I figure everyone needs a really nice normal pinstripe, right?

So this is my little girl, Checkers.
