Oh..and here's an update on the prizes:

Since there are now only 2 categories..the prizes are as follows:

Holiday Herps: A pair of banded het hypo poss. het cinder, a pair of miami het amel, 1 secret gift (not an animal)

Home for the holidays: A pair of banded het hypo poss. het cinder, 1 normal het snow, 1 secret gift (animal and not a corn snake..if you want this prize please e-mail me for information "[email protected]")
 
maize.... what do you mean there are only two category's? i gave you all of the pics for winter wonderland or whatever that other one was...
 
I only received 1 pic for Winter Wonderland and 1 pic for Christmas Creations but now I just had someone send me a pic they had entered but I guess I just never got..so Christmas Creations is back in the game cause now I have 2 entries..I will be posting them up shortly..
 
Hey I sent in a photo before the deadline for home for the holidays but it isn't posted. What happened did I do something wrong?

Send your picture to Cornsnakes124 again and tell him to post your pic in the category..Sorry it wasn't posted with the others.. Maybe you could even send it to one of the mods and they can edit it into the same post with the other pics..

Except that voting has already started and people cannot change their votes so wouldn't that make it unfair? I think you would have to close that thread and start it all over again.
 
Ok if I choose to have this poll closed so that one more entrant can be made..is this a good choice..I know it's only fair to the person who didn't get their picture up but I feel like that would be unfair to the other contestants who are being voted on currently..I really could use some advice on this..
 
Hmm, my opinion is that it's not fair to the other contestants if we restarted. It sucks for Harm781... but if we redo the contest then it makes his photo no longer anonymous, which was one of the requirements, right?

Also, as a side note: I like your photo Harm, but if the contest was redone, I wouldn't be changing my selection because I like one of the other ones so much more.

I think the next contest is going to be HUGE! We all need to get in on it, and I think that if we enter a photo, we should take it upon ourselves to make sure there is confirmation from the contest manager stating that he received it (which is generally sent out, correct?), and if we DON'T see confirmation back, then we need to check on it until we hear one way or another.
 
I'm guessing they chose not to redo anyway. Not sure what happened I sent it in twice all well maybe next time.
 
Ok since I am the runner of this contest I have decided that everything is staying as it is..I am truly sorry to those who's pictures were not added..this was the first contest I have run on here and there are a lot of things I have learned and slot that I wish I could change. I hope you all can overlook the errors of this contest and not judge me on my mistakes. To those who sent in a picture and it was not entered, I am truly sorry that we missed your pictures. I hope you will enter other upcoming contests as all your pictures were very good. To those who were entered. Thank you so much for your entries and your patience through this contest. I hope to see more entries in future contests by you all.

As for the category of Christmas creations..I will still be making a poll for this category and it will have a 5 day voting. Thank you all again and have a joyous mew year.
 
I guess voting has closed!!! I will count votes put in for 5 minutes more then this contest is closed and i'll post the victor. (its gonna be close in this one!)
 
Well it looks like 3. has won! Congrats!! I am not quite sure how des is running the prizes, you will have to get in contact with her. I would announce the winner, but i am not sure if des wants me to.
