Climbing and Falling

I recently got a new corn, a big, pretty Ghost who wrapped around my arm very sweetly at the store and didn't let go.

I sort of have the same problem with my two little guys, however I just attributed it to them being little and quick. My old girl is slow and deliberate so I think it's kind of weird that she climbs all over the place and just falls.

I've been carrying her around my neck, or just putting her thre when I'm hanging out with her and she'll crawl down my arm and then plunk onto the bed and stay there. She does the same thing in her cage- trying to climb across the ceiling and then falling with her full length across the bottom of the tank.

Is this normal, or is Monica just a bit dumb?:shrugs:

Unless it's some sort of neurological disorder, I'd say she's normal. I have several snakes that fall occasionally. In particular, one of my larger pythons is a bit on the klutzy side, and falls about once a week. He's pretty heavy -- sounds like a phone book hitting the floor!

ya, I still get woken up to FinFang's fat self falling in the middle of the night. I added more things for him to climb on, to get a better grip maybe, hasn't helped much though. It's normal from what I can tell.

Yep I would say it is normal. Mine love to climb and then they drop to the ground. You just want to make sure there is nothing that will hurt them in your setup if they drop down on it.
