Cobra loose in California

Do they consider a cobra a big snake? In Florida you'd have to have a license to keep those too.....
 
So I don't think it would have been microchipped.....they are completely illegal in California anyway so whoever had it is not going to talk. High end animal though...somebody spent a chunk of money...it was a leucistic cobra.....much more money for those....
 
Well, since that one was in the state illegally I'm not sure if a state regulation would matter....that's the problem with laws....usually only the law abiding people care about them.
 
I've been looking for prices on these leucistic cobras and while I can't find any recent ads, 2 years ago you could find them between $300-$500. That's a lot cheaper than I was expecting.
