my female grey rat just laid eggs 4 days ago and now her coloration is very very dark. much darker than it was before spots on her that were light gray are almost black now is this normal???

hello mate.
Thats cos she's gonna shed again,most snakes have a pre lay shed and then a post lay shed,its ok nothing to worry about.
