Computer woes...

Well, I'm back after a few speed bumps with my computer. I had to have the hard drive re-formatted. Things are looking pretty good with the loss of some documents and the HUGE fonts I now have after doing the updates from Microsoft. If anyone has ever seen the large print version of a book compared to the normal print version, you know what I am dealing with. I've tried everything to change the font size without any success. I guess I'll just have to move about a foot or two back from the monitor.

Dave! Glad to see you're back, I've been missing your witty comments esp on RA's latest thread! Solution to your large font problem: grow longer arms! LOL :grin01:

Easy solution, buy a bigger monitor  .

I intend on doing but not till next year, i begrudge paying £375 for a half decent 19" tft.

There's an idea. Get a large screen monitor and I'll be set for when old(er) age sets in and the eyes start to go.

I was thinking of doom3 and UT2005

Their also handy for office work, and internet, just wish i could afford 1 now :shrugs: .

There seems to be something I have missed as of late. Would someone care to send me a link to the above mentioned idiocy (ies). I'm still trying to catch up on what I have missed but I've been having some back problems lately and can't sit too long without my back complaining.
