nice! a thermostat that isn't over 40 bucks--thanks for the link. The reviews on amazon seem to be positive. I'm just bummed that I already bought the zoomed rheostats. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and buy a few of those thermostats from your link. Do you know anyone who has used them for corns w/ success?
I've already spent well over 400, not counting food, on my three corns. So I'm trying to keep a tighter budget from here on out.

I'm not gonna lie, i spent 275 just on one viv :uhoh: But i have never used this thermostat and i don't believe anyone here has used them either but i would just go off of reviews, there is no reason why it wouldn't work, all it does is read the temp and give the pad more or less electricity. The reviews say that it's good so i would just go off of that and get one and try it. You should always have a thermometer on top of the glass whether you have a rheostat or a t-stat to make sure it's working properly anyways, so just check on it every once in a while. If you do get one, make a thread for it and tell us how it is to set-up, how it works over the first week and then just keep us posted, i was planning on getting one to try it out but it won't be for a couple more months. Let us know what you decide!
