the temp reading on the screen... reads the temp of where your probe is placed... IE. your probe is under a log... the temp is underthe log...your probe is lying on your bedroom floor...the temp is of your bedroom floor..

hope that helps...

I know but its an indoor outdoor thermometer so it reads 2 different temp's one is the probe and the other is the thermometer inside the screen thing. I can't remember which one is the probe temp and which is the other 1.
Thanx anyway. :)

Well, there is nothing unusual in this. These thermometers are cheap and they results will be different.
Thermometer that will show you exact themperature to the one place after comma costs here ~$3.000.

sojkas, i think he was saying that is thermometer read out two temps, and he did not now witch was for the probe and witch was for the main unit

yeah, the indoor/outdoor ones have a long wire on the probe so you can put it outside of your window and keep the screen inside on your wall. As a result, like you mentioned, the outdoor reading is where the probe is at. The indoor reading is where the actual screen is.

is this what you have?
