Corn Snake and Crested Gecko vivs in close proximity

I relocated and had to leave my corn and my gecko with a friend of mine who's taken care of them for a year now.

I've seen pics of both and they seem healthy but it seems my friend kept the gecko viv right next to the corn's whereas I had them across the room from each other.

My question might be more appropriate for a gecko forum since I'm more worried about the potential stress on the gecko than the snake.

My friend said he hadn't seen any issues but I'm experienced to know that it's very difficult to spot stress in animals , especially mild stress that may not impact their behavior in a very visible manner.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but it's probably safe to say that my gecko would be feeling better if kept 4-5 feet away from my corn's viv ?

Depends on the temperment of the gecko but being next to any of my snakes has never seemed to bother my geckos. The snakes, except for the garters I had, never seemed to pay any attention to the geckos. The geckos on the other hand are often interested in the snakes. In fact, they often stalk them and have a few times attempted to lounge at them, I don't think they have a good sense of size, LOL!
In fact, a few of my geckos have stalked and attempted to lounge at my Chihuahua when she's walked under their cages at night when their in a feisty mood.

My snakes and geckos are right next to each other as well, and haven't seen either species bother the other. When I had my male bearded next to the geckos though, there was a lot of gaping from the geckos and a lot of trying to eat geckos through the glass from the dragon. We've since moved Ramsay's viv and haven't had any more issues.
